How have you dealt wtih big wild dreams that you feel like you did NOT attain? I would love to get your feedback below on how you dealt with that? What was the vision or goal that you didn't reach, and how did you not let it get you down? I think we all face these things at times, and how we handle them may be the difference between happiness and not. This week we answer the questions we have received about why we are not sailing. Over the last few weeks now, there has been a thread of questions about the fact that the sailboat has not been in the videos, we are not out on the water or doing work on the boat. What's up with that is the common question. There are a lot of reasons, call them excuses if you will, but we are happy where we are in life and are looking to adapt our dreams slightly to make them attainable for a more extended period. I wish we were more like Delos, Uma, The Wynns, Atticus, and the many other channels I turn to for continued fuel for my fire (or dreams), but we are different. We have managed to find a way to make cruising or living aboard or having a boat work for our family and us. So how have you modified one of your dreams to keep it alive even if it doesn't look exactly like you first visioned without feeling like you lost a bit of your identity with it? Hey this was my recent playthrough, starting as Jianzhou I formed Manchu then Qing, and got all the achievements for these guys. Some notes: You can beat Ming's army early with your smaller cavalry-heavy armies if you take small fights and stackwipe I was razing provinces as much as possible (you can only do this after conquering them, the button's in the top right of the province screen), as razing is basically your only real income early on, until you can take Beijing trade node. Occupying Ming's provinces increases devastation with makes them lose mandate and weakens their armies To get Qing of China achievement, you need to own all provinces in China subcontinent and be Emperor To get 100 banners, increase development of Manchu-culture provinces or convert other provinces to Manchu culture. There is also an age bonus that gives 25% more Manchu banners Completing The Three Feudatories mission will instantly make breakaway Chinese minor nations your marches, so that's really good. Harmonize religions by taking provinces of those religions. It will take at most 33 years to harmonize, which can be reduced by events which will fire if you have states with that religion. You will continue harmonizing at usual rate if you are at 0 harmony, and will only incur minor penalties for having 0 harmony. To get the achievement for embracing as institutions as as steppe horde, you only need to embrace up to Enlightenment, you DO NOT need to get the last institution of Industrialization. If you’ve been following our progress so far on Reverie, we appreciate you! In episode 52, our next steps in our marine overhaul is Installing Galley Bulkhead. This episode does not disappoint. To kick things off we discovered some dry rot wood on the bulked that’s separating the aft locker from the galley. :( Following the advice of a Master Marine Carpenter, we removed the damaged portion of the existing bulkhead and replaced it with a patch. The bulkhead was a mess, but we were able to successfully repair it by sister-ing a new piece of marine-grade plywood to the bulkhead, which helps to add additional strength and support. It took a little creativity, and the right tools, but in the end we were able to get it done! Have you ran into dry rot in the galley? Was it an easy fix? What a show the 2022 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show was! Camper & Nicholsons was delighted to present an impressive line-up of seven yachts for sale or charter, during one of the most impressive editions so far! C&N saw an increase of 193.9% in visitors boarding the yachts on display, compared to 2021. Altogether, 146 yachts from the fleet visited Monaco during the show. Of these, 119 yachts were stationed at the Port Hercules showgrounds with the remaining 25 yachts at anchor. The average asking price per yacht has been calculated at €20,466,486, which combined makes up a total asking price of €4,052,364,256 of all yachts on display.
