We have been all setup for Christmas on the boat now for a few weeks. The harbor we are in now has a nice Christmas Boat Parade however it was scheduled for the day we returned from Vacation so we didn't participate. We did however decorate the boat on the outside by running colored lights around the entire boat from stem to stern along the pulpits and lifelines. We also ran white lights inside the cockpit and in the evenings we would play Christmas music so those walking down the street to the local restaurants could hear it. It was pretty cool and was always nice to keep us in the Christmas spirit. Additionally, we have a very small 2 foot Christmas tree that we decorated and put on a small table in the front of the Salon. We hung the stockings from the Port Catches in the Salon and it really made it feel nice and 'Christmassy' down below. Deb also made a nice piece of Garland that she hung on the arch between the Salon and NavStation & Galley. It looks great. I have heard several different versions of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" but I figured this would be a nice variation to it. En este vídeo os transmitimos nuestra experiencia, para nosotros es un destino muy libre donde no hay edificaciones y pasadas unas 17 millas de la base, la desconexión es total ideal para los amantes de la naturaleza y tranquilidad. Hemos hecho un recorrido realmente único posible en cualquier época del año, hemos visto una cantidad de animales marinos increíble, en el mes de Marzo se avistan, Ballenas jorobadas, leones marinos, tortugas, peces globo, el tiburón ballena, pelicanos, delfines.... en otras épocas de pueden ver mantas voladoras y muchos otros que nos podéis consultar si os interesa para ir en vuestras vacaciones. En Topsailingcharter descubrimos a bordo de un catamarán Lagoon 450 del 2014 sus increíbles paisajes, la cantidad de playas naturales sin nadie en ellas, sus manglares y sus entradas a la playas, nada de contaminación, ni plásticos en las playas, todo en perfecto estado. Playas en México hay infinidad en La isla Espíritu Santo, Isla Partida, Isla San José, Isla San Francisco todas las islas con parajes increíbles que recomendamos visitar una vez en la vida. En todo el recorrido hemos encontrado fondos de arena siempre a unos 5-8 metros máximo de profundidad lo que hace un lugar muy fácil de navegación y de preocupación 0 por la noche. We are refitting a 44 year old Rival 38 for a Sustainable Sailing retirement in a few years. Two years ago, when we bought Vida she was in a very tired and damp condition with all original equipment and fittings. We have removed all the gas, diesel and paraffin equipment, and are installing all electric (motor, cooking etc). Now that the inside is dry (thanks to new windows, new hatches and leak chasing) we are fitting her out for live-aboard world cruising. The Clipper Hudson Bay 50 is a striking looking motor yacht, perfect for a short day trip or extended family cruises. Great use of space and clever layout make the HB50 a stand out in this size range. 'Plan Sea' is an excellent example of the HB50, she is a three cabin, galley aft layout and in superb condition throughout. The current owners have cruised the east coast of Australia and now use the boat almost exclusively on the Gippsland Lakes. Nous sommes en croisière de retour cap Port Camargue, sortons du Frioul un matin d’octobre à 9h. Les fichiers gribs annonçaient une météo instable avec une CAPE importante (orage). J'ai fais route directe au moteur car au loin j’apercevais un gros orage. Isa range les accessoires et met l’électronique dans le four en cas de foudre. Le ciel devient noir, gronde et de la pluie tombe en masse. Nous avançons dans ce rideau de pluie que je vous partage en vidéo. Mon seul allié à ce moment là c’est mon radar que je laisse en marche et j’esquive entre deux gros nuages des trombes d’eau. Des minis tornades apparaissent sur le coté Babord mais j’ai pris la bonne décision d’aller dans l’écho du radar moins dense... Nous naviguons de manière serein car nous avons étudier nos conditions météorologies !
