Nothing to see but shells, and some stunning trees... ok, everything is gorgeous on this shell island! We took the the airboat out to a small island that is made shells! Over the years, the shells become sand and rugged plants took root along the high ground... soil followed and other life. Participate with the Sail Malaysia 2018 to Langkawi crew in the events organized in Langkawi, the rally final port. First we have a quick look at islands along the way from Pangkor including Penang where no event was organized this year due to a lack of good anchoring & dinghy landing. We take a short island tour where we visit the Sanctuary Bakau in the Kilim Geoforest Park to help with the reforestation project and have a quick look at the Oriental Village followed by a nice dinner at the Rice Museum. Next day we have a look at Rebak Marina and the farewell cocktail there.
