This is Episode 11 of our story. With the UK in lockdown we are unable to work on the yacht so we have to do things in a different order. We rent a storage unit and begin packing up and organising our Dutch Barge to say goodbye to our old lives. It is said that 'we can't have change without loss' and sorting though your own possessions is a great example of this. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all our possessions and have the guts to cast off. Sailing on the Bay of Green Bay off Door County, Wisconsin in a fading 12 to 15 knot southeasterly breeze. Perfect conditions resulting in an absolutely delightful mid-summer sail. Newbie wannabe pirates invest in a few boats, we have a Mirror Dinghy, Bruce Roberts 34, Top Hat 25 Mk1, Timber Hull 23 Alan Rice, and a 14 foot Catamaran which we are repairing, sailing around going on adventures. We are based in Adelaide, South Australia and are new to sailing so we are learning as we go, what an amazing ride stay tuned as we get up to mischief, have a laugh and go on some crazy adventures.
