http://www.nauticabellandi.com Oggi andiamo a testare in acqua questa bellissima Ranieri Azzurra da 5 metri motorizzata con un motore fuoribordo Honda da 40 cavalli. ******************************************************************* Se vuoi saperne di più chiamami subito al +39 3358049716 oppure invia una mail a vendite@nauticabellandi.com ******************************************************************* In larghezza misura circa 2 metri e 30 e le sue piccole dimensioni permettono di poterla trasportare con un carrello stradale senza l'obbligo di patenti particolari (basta la patente B dell'auto). E' vero che le dimensioni sono limitate, ma è anche vero che all'interno della barca c'è molto spazio. Può portare fino a 6 persone che si possono distribuire comodamente a prua, a poppa o sulla panca di guida. Su questo modello in particolare sono installati accessori come le luci di navigazione, il segnalatore acustico, la scaletta di risalita sovradimensionata (per permettere una facile risalita dall'acqua), il tendalino parasole in alluminio, la cuscineria completa ed il telo copriscafo. Ora ti spiego velocemente come sono distribuiti i pesi sulla barca: a poppa trovi appunto la "seduta di poppa" dove ci possono stare sedute comodamente 3 persone. Tra la seduta di poppa e la consolle di guida c'è la "seduta di guida" che ospita pilota e copilota. Inoltre reclinando lo schienale in avanti diventa un comodo appoggio per prendere il sole anche a poppa. Il punto forte di questa barca si trova nella parte frontale, a prua, dove è installato un prendisole grande che può ospitare fino a 3 persone comodamente sdraiate. Inoltre, c'è la possibilità di rimuovere la parte centrale del prendisole per poter camminare liberamente anche davanti alla consolle. Al di sotto del prendisole è sistemato un grande gavone per lo stivaggio di tutta l'attrezzatura di sicurezza. Il motore da 40 cavalli Honda installato è il miglior compromesso che si possa a vere tra potenza e consumi ed ovviamente ti permette di guidare la barca anche senza patente nautica. La velocità di punta che abbiamo toccato in navigazione è stata di 25 nodi, niente male per un'imbarcazione del genere. Il minimo di planata è di 14/15 nodi, un 'andatura perfetta e confortevole per minimizzare i consumi e godersi la navigazione in totale tranquillità. In the previous Episode I used the Docking Stick for the first time. It worked very well, but the spring line pulled the bow into the dock abruptly. In this video, I adjust the position of the spring line and it pulls the boat in nicely 'parallel'.

In this episode of Tool Making Bob makes a strike-able awl with a olive wood handle and brass ferrule. An awl is an important tool for any boat builders toolbox let alone any craftsman It's really an essential tool that everyone needs. I've always had a Stanley awl which has worked really well for me. One of the thing I like about it is that the metal shaft runs through the handle. I can strike it with an hammer with out damaging the handle. So one would be able to punch leather or things like that. I'd be looking for a small lathe project and decided that an awl would be a great small project. I made this awl with and olive wood handle, a brass ferrule, and a tapered polished shaft. We’re loving San Francisco! It’s green and picturesque and the hills are a great workout :) In this episode we also visit the wine districts outside the city and get a baby update! We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat Ran, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us. We woke up in the most gorgeous anchorage on Peter Island. The water was pure glass. We had our coffee and a relaxing morning and then everyone loaded up in the dinghy and headed for The Indians. The Indians is a local dive and snorkel spot full of sea life. Following The Indians we did a 2 hour sail back to Scrub Island where we met up with some other boaters. We chilled at the resort pool there and the kids played on the water trampolines. After the pool time, just us girls from all the boats went on a little hike where we almost stepped on a snake! The following day we loaded up bright and early and headed for Virgin Gorda. Malia made breakfast while Steve and I did the sailing. He once again tried to teach me, but it just wasn't clicking. We also prepped and planned to head to Anguilla following Virgin Gorda, so we laid out the bed for the kids like we do on long passages. The weather was super cloudy and rainy that day and the kids weren't in the best of moods but we made the best of it. I took my nice camera into the rocks and took lots of pics of the kids this time. We took our family profile picture too. We didn't stay very long as we wanted to get sailing again. Steve and Kamden went to check us out of the BVI's. We then went to get gas right as it started pouring rain. It takes us forever to get gas so that wasn't very fun. The sail to Anguilla was one of our favorites as there were birds and Tuna jumping everywhere! The boys were so excited! Steve even sailed off-course to try and get the boys to hook some. The never did sadly, but it was still such a fun time. Kami got sick while cooking dinner that night, it's always hard to cook while sailing. She had to go sit outside for a while. We made it to Anguilla and anchored that night surrounded by lots of boats. There was noise and music playing all night long! The boys spent the night fishing off the back of the boat. The next day we headed onto shore to check in. The process was super easy and quick. It was a ghost town on the beach that day, and a little creepy to be honest. We stopped off at the local beach bar and got the kids drinks before grabbing a rental car and heading into town. We checked out the Anguilla arch and took a few pictures there as a family. Afterwards we met up with Eco and Exodus and did some explorin together. There isn't much to see or do on that island, but we did a little nature hike, and then went to lunch at a beach restaurant. There were tiny chicks all over the place and the kids had a blast picking them up. We visited the local candy store inbetween drives as well, so Karver was super happy. We took some family pictures on the beach sunset that night before loading up to sail to St. Martin.

We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach in Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony with our 4 kids, just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted.
