In this episode, we start where we left off… the end of day two of our 500 nautical mile test sail of the Kraken 50, in the middle of the Sea of Marmara. In true Mediterranean sailing style, the wind drops out… shortly followed by gusts! We get walloped with 30 knots of wind coming into anchor… very unexpected especially when we were wrapping up for the day! The next day we hoist the sails early again and much to Adams delight, he gets asked if he wants to drive the boat! Not only is this his dream come true but he then hits the highest speed record of the trip thus far at 12 knots… he is however racing himself. We have a fantastic morning of sailing and notice a few quirks of the Kraken that is quite unique compared to other boats! This boat continues to surprise us… Music Credits All Music from Epidemic Sound Buy us a Beer! https://www.paypal.me/svmillennialfalcon Show your support with some SMF Merch: https://sailingmillennialfalcon.com/shop/ Want more? Sailing the Hobie15 with a 86yr old, very experienced sailor. Location is the calabrian coast of the mediteranian sea, summer 2022. We have been to the Aldiana Calabria hotel for our holiday and there, you are able to sail catamaran for free in case you have a sailing license of the VDWS international. So we took a catamaran, went out on sea and enjoyed a ride with easy going but also hard sections. I was able to learn a lot and could furthermore experience my personal limit. We hit the 20kts mark a few times in a 5-6bft wind. My skipper just did not press the last juice out of the cat as we both decided beforehand not to do so... With the highly respectable age of 86, he did not want to get into the trapeze, so I did. Enjoy my other video solo sailing the Hobie 15 in lighter winds...

We are skipper and hostess (available for hire), promoting sailing and naturist style of holidaying in Croatia. If you are a sea gipsy, a real sailor (I mean, sailing, not motoring your way), and like to stay away from main charter routs and marinas … this might be the right place for you. We sail 8 m boat on a tight budget, so we explore and look for all nice places where we can anchor without paying overpriced buoy fields and marinas. Local villages, restaurants, water and food supply.... If you find our website useful, please support us so we can continue exploring and sharing . And we might get better.... hopefully. www.patreon.com/sailingcroatia www.wesailcroatia.com info@wesailcroatia.com

Day 3 of the Skradin Cup had it all. From the windswept start in Primošten to the golden sunset over Šolta, Day 3 was nothing short of epic. Crews gave it everything on the water, chasing the lead across a stunning 23NM course. But the real magic unfolded back on land. With sails down and spirits high, the evening lit up with sizzling dishes, shared stories, and a shoreline party that carried into the night. Competition met fun and that’s the heart of the Skradin Cup. Diamond Sponsors: ACI Marinas & OTP Bank Gold Sponsors: UniCredit & Generali Hrvatska & Peri Deri

Då tar vi oss an Kielkanalen! Skepp ohoj! Lyra, Cecilia och Leo Instagram: @sailing.lyra Email: info.sailingartemis@gmail.com
