NOTE - Simon's walk around inspection, both outside on the ground, on the decks and from anchor locker to lazarette and all in between were not filmed as I didn't want to get in his way and he moved quite efficiently in the process. Many stories also unfolded of Simon's with some of the historical, Worlds 'small sailing craft' legends! Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval architects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress. There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,... However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,... The final day of the BORA Sailing Championship'2022 in Sofia delivered fresh breeze on Iskar Lake and tight races - 3 more to wrap the Qualifying Series and 3 races for the top 5 in the Finals. The crew from Ultramarine Sailing Club, with skipper Yavor Kolev, managed to score two wins in the Final Series and stole the crown from the Qualifying Series leader - the crew from CSYC with skipper Stefan Raev, who finished in the 4th place overall.
