Here's a simple guide of how I installed my 20GPH SeaWater Pro 120V AC powered watermaker. Working through the beginning of the system, though to the end. An easily installed watermaker that anyone can DIY(Do It Yourself). How a watermaker functions easily explained in less than five minutes! Being able to turn saltwater into drinkable fresh water out at sea is necessity. Weather you want to have access to cleaner water, be able to stay away from civilization for longer periods of time. Or just become that much more self sufficient. Whatever the reason, a watermaker is an expensive, but game changing machine to have onboard. This is a simple video explaining how I make, store and use 12v DC & 120v AC electricity on my sailboat. I often stay anchored out in remote areas for two to three weeks at a time. The solar panels require practically no maintenance, and are silent(unlike wind turbines and generators). This setup makes for a happy life living in some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world! The basic steps are simple: Sunshine, solar panels, solar charge controller, batteries, 12v DC panels and then loads. Or from the 12v DC batteries to the inverter, 120v AC power to the 120v panel, their respective loads. There are many more smaller parts like wires, lugs, dielectric grease and much much more. But this video will give you a basic understanding of how I produce power while sailing and living far off the grid. Le barche possono affondare? ... e allora le barche inaffondabili? Il principio è facile: Se le cose galleggiano, significa che spostano più chili di acqua rispetto a quanto pesano. Le normative restringenti degli ultimi anni, hanno reso la nautica da diporto certamente più sicura, facendo adottare ai costruttori maggiori dettagli di sicurezza. Tutto questo però non esclude che uno Yacht o una barca non possa affondare. Se il livello di acqua imbarcata, si infila in tutto lo scafo, e magari una camera stagna è rovinata e non lo è più, questo fa si che la barca non sposti più acqua del suo peso ma prima, lo stesso e poi meno.
