Con il passare de secoli gli abitanti aumentarono e intorno al castello ebbe origine il borgo oltre il ponte, poi un altro ponte e cosi la città crebbe. IL MUSEO ETNO ANTRPOPOLOGICO Situato a est del Castello il museo è illustra i diversi aspetti della civiltà contadina. Conserva oggetti d'uso delle coltivazioni agricole più diffuse nel territorio come quelle dei cereali, della vite, dell'olivo ed utensili di diverse attività artigianali, e oggetti della vita quotidiana . A pochi passi di Cala Marina, c'è il Museo del Mare. IL VELIERO XV SECOLO Il relitto di un veliero, ritrovato nel luglio 2009 dal castellammarese Vito Sottile, archeologo, nelle acque antistanti la spiaggia è una delle più belle realtà restituitaci dal mare. nelle vicinanze di Castellammare del Golfo, da molti anni esiste: LA RISERVA DELLO ZINGARO (Riserva Naturale Orientata). comprende i territori dei comuni vicinori: Castellammare, Custonaci S.
