Skippertraining ist die ganzheitliche Vorbereitung auf das Führen von Yachten und beinhaltet mehr als Hafenmanöver. Ziel des Trainings ist der Gewinn an Erfahrung, Kompetenz und der sichere Umgang mit der Yacht auch in schwierigen Situationen, wie z.B. bei einer Nachtfahrt oder bei Notmanövern. Skippertraining ist Bordpraxis in ständig wechselnden Rollen und erfordert, sich selbst und die Crew auf Manöver vorzubereiten, ruhig und souverän zu führen und sich an der Vorleine, am Fender oder am Ruder führen zu lassen. Alle Manöver werden zwischen Trainer und Crew ausgewertet und dabei auch die eigene Rolle reflektiert. Auch das Skippertraining in den Häfen um Heiligenhafen enthält selbstverständlich auch römisch katholische Elemente. Meine Segelfilme zeige ich gern in Deinem Segelclub oder Kulturzentrum. dieses Lied fiel mir spontan während unseres Urlaubes in Apulien ein. Als ich mit meiner Frau und meinen Kindern am endlosen Sandstrand entlang spazierte kam diese Melodie in meinen Kopf, der Text ergab sich dann von selbst. Mein Bruder Chris hat das ganze gefällig arrangiert und mit mir den Song eingesungen. Das hat echt Spass gemacht. Und dann kam mein kreativer Freund Niko ins Spiel, der zu dieser Musik sein Bildarchiv durchkramte und diesen Videoclip zusammenstellte.
