His last TD was called back on a clipping penalty. Final score 19 - 0. We won the toss and chose to go on offense first. On the opening kickoff someone touched the ball on BYC's kickoff team as the ball was traveling Rinkie Head high traveling to one of our return men. York Town recovered the fumble and it seemed as if it would be another tough match up against the Patriots. Yorktown went four and out. Their QB was on the money with a pass to the rightside of the ball field for about 6 yards. Patriots punted the ball 30 yards or so and our offense took over at the Raiders 45 yard line. After a timeout taken by coach Jim, the QB #3 Trenis sprung to the outside for a 69 yard touchdown breaking ankles along the way. The crowd went crazy! We failed on a extra point run by #11 Clovis After another 4 and out by the Patriot's, Trenis and the offense took the field again to try and duplicate their last drive. They had a little trouble getting started as penalties drove them backwards creating a 4th and 20 something. When in trouble give the ball to #3 as he sprung again to the outside (The Boys Club Side) breaking ankles again for 24 yards. That boy is good, engergizing the crowd once again. He has a particular move in which he goes one way, then springs the other and bursts (WOW one way of describing it) ups the field. These kids aren't ready for that yet Lil trenis J.... 1rst Down!! As if we weren't excited enough Chicken & Rice burst to the other side on a sweep for 8 yards, then Qualeem not to be out down goes off tackle for 26 and a TD. The game became a defensive Struggle for the next 2 quarters as fumbles, an interception, penalties, and lack of blocking stalled progress. The defense play very good to say the least, good tackling, a swarming defense that plays smart. They gave up no 1rst downs!! I repeat, they gave up no first downs!! Now that's a defense! 4 Sacks, 1 Int 0 Points scored against.
