This weekend was an incredible weekend on the water with the new PAC52 class. The practice day started with an owner meeting, where corrections for "Rio" being significantly faster was discussed and corrected. "Rio" was 125 kilos lighter than the rest of the boats so correction weight was added. Owner Manouch Moshayedi of "Rio" has played a vital role in the development of this class and wants an equal playing field. The first day of races proved that the boats are very similar in speed. Each team is stacked with experienced sailors from around the world as well as some youth sailors. Day 2 was windy and much larger sea state than typically seen in Southern California. This paved way for really shaking up the new boats. A diver was sent down to inspect the boats and discovered the keel faring by the bulb was coming apart. The keel issue was not clear but to play it safe both "BADPAK" and "Invisible Hand" sat out the last race. The last day was a race in the bay where the owners of the two benched boats were invited on "Fox" and "Rio". It was a very wet day in San Diego. Over all this is an incredible class of boats with a great group of owners. The class organizers did a great job with the after parties and over all created a fun atmosphere for racing. Hi Everyone, Today we do the Spring oil change in our 1958 Porsche 356 A T2 Cabriolet! Pretty straight forward process really. I do two oil changes a year with a filter change once a year. If you have any questions/comments, please leave them below. The parts used are: • Oil Filter OX79 • Case drain plug: 539.01.133 You’ll need: • 19mm Wrench • 22mm Wrench • Drain Pans • ~5 Qts of oil. (I used Valvoline 20W50 Racing) The required tools scene only shows a 19mm wrench (for the drain plug), but you’ll also need a 22mm wrench (or socket) for the oil filter canister hat bolt. Musica: http://www.bensound.com/ Royalty Free Music from Bensound

It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with my dog anyways, especially if it's warm out in the middle of the day. If I have to leave him inside the van I cover the front seats so he can't climb up and stare out the window and bark. I cover all the windows with reflectix panels I made for insulation, I turn my fantastic sucking air out on max (replaces all the air in the van every 90 seconds). I crack one window in a shaddy lower part of the van to create a consistent airflow. Other than that the fiberglass roof and insulation do a fantastic job of keeping the heat out. In colder climates I set the furnace on at minimum and close down all the windows same as for heat minus venting. - What happened to the girl? We decided to go seperate ways (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPgxDIXxCjY&t=4s) - Are you rich or something? definitely not. I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? Our electric motor spent a few hours submerged when our boat flooded with tap water due to a broken hose fitting. Such a small issue led to a massive amount of repairs. Luckily, the water that flooded the boat was clean tap water and not salt water, so the damage to the electronic components was kept to a minimum. One of the casualties was the electric motor. Immediately after the water was drained from the bilge, I sprayed the entire motor with WD40, but the motor still wouldn't turn on. I was afraid that some of the connections and wires in the motor may have corroded and damaged the entire unit. As it turns out, the problem was actually that there was a smidge of water still in the plugs of the motors which caused a fault so the motor would not turn on to protect itself. Drying out the plugs and filling them with lanocote to prevent any corrosion while also displacing any remaining water proved to be a saving grace. The plugs were all filled and reconnected, then when the motor was activated, the solenoids clicked and the motor began to spin! Success! The motor survived the flooding and made oily mess in the boat like a diesel motor would have. A tour of cabin of our 1988 Ericson 38-200 sailboat "Naoma." There is more information and links below if you click "Show More." So far we sailed with her from San Diego to Mexico across the Pacific Ocean to French Polynesia (Tahiti and the Society Islands, Marquesas Islands, and the Tuamotu Atolls). By the way, we forgot to mention the reason the fan was smoking (see our last episode). We promise to include it in the next video! Many of you were close with your guesses but so far only one person was 100% right...
