**NOW SOLD** Launched new in 2008, Wings is a well presenting Catalina 309 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Sydney Harbour. Stemming for the most successful production yacht brand in this class globally, the Catalina 309 is one of the later models produced by the American manufacturers. Catalina managed to create an impressively spacious and useable package in just under 10 meters with two private double cabins, additional saloon berths, a fully enclosed head and shower space plus a very impressive saloon space and big galley. The 309 shares a long list of big boat features and quality including good tank capacities, electric anchor winch, large refrigeration, big cockpit storage, in-mast furling, hot and cold pressure water, good standing head room in the modern and bright cabin plus importantly the transom becomes walk-through when the helm seat is removed. Wings includes a Raymarine instrument package with auto-pilot and two colour chart plotters. A new Fusion stereo has been added. The Force 10 stove and oven has been added new. Wings has been maintained regularly and professionally including the most recent anti-foul in just December 2019. Standing rigging was replaced new in 2018 and both furling genoa and in-mast furling mainsail were replaced new by Hood Sails in 2017. The Yanmar shaft-drive engine has only logged around 330 hours. Black lion à Lady Musgrave! Faisant partie du parc national des Capricornia Cays, ce minuscule cay - pas plus grand que 14 hectares de corail et de sable, à 100 km au nord-est de Bundaberg - se trouve sur le bord ouest d'un magnifique lagon de récif bleu turquoise réputé pour sa baignade en toute sécurité , plongée avec tuba et plongée. Une plage grinçante de sable blanc borde une dense canopée de forêts de pisonia regorgeant d'oiseaux perchés, y compris des sternes, des puffins et des noddies à tête blanche. Les oiseaux nichent d'octobre à avril, tandis que les tortues vertes nichent de novembre à février. Mais avec près de 2000 hectares de récifs entourant ce petit point vert, ce qui se trouve sous la surface sera toujours l'événement principal. Nous avons savouré cette escale en nageant avec les tortues et les raies mantas.

De mouillages en mouillages nous explorons cette grande barrière de corail! les sites ne manquent pas et les mouillages solitaires sont nombreux. L'Australie se dévoile à nous tous les jour. Avant d'arriver à Keppel island, l'eau est chargée de la reproduction du corail. Entre les navigations, les lieux déserts, les mangroves et les rivières, nous n'arrêtons pas d'explorer! Nous ramassons des huitres sauvages, nous profitons de chaque instant! Nous savourons la vie!

In this episode, we sail north from Noumea to a string of shallow bays. With the southerly winds finally eased, we head through the very tight Canal Lepredour and down to beautiful Ile Tenia . We dive the outer reef wall and have a couple manta rays swim by. Returning to the shallow bay Baie De Deama (barely 1.5m deep) we visit Port Quenghi and have a lovely locally made pizza. Returning back to Noumea we stop at Ile Abu and explore the island and find sand burying starfish and banded sea snakes climbing the cliff face into a cave. Finally after living together in very close confined living space for 8 months, it was time to say goodbye to Emma and Robbie who fly back to Adelaide.

… und die Sache mit dem Seitenarm ... ich fahre mich fest. Es ist noch August und es ist sehr heiß an der Nordseeküste. Mit meinem Bordhund „Rosi“ geht es Einhand raus zu den Sandbänken und Prielen vor Bremerhaven. Hier ankern wir im Nationalpark Wattenmeer mit unserer FEELING 29DI. Später verholen wir auf die Sandbank und gehen hier spielen und baden. Am frühen Abend soll es zurück gehen und dabei möchte ich einen neuen Seitenarm vom Suezpriel zur Weser erkunden. Aber … ich komme immer wieder fest. Es gestaltet sich anders wie gewohnt ca. 1,5 Std. nach Niedrigwasser aus dem Priel zu kommen oder gar ... ? Die nächsten 2 1/2 Jahre werden wir nutzen um den Pazifik zu durchqueren, den indonesischen Raum zu erkunden und letztendlich nach der Umrundung des Kap der guten Hoffnungen wieder Fuß auf europäisches Land zu setzen.
