Depois de uma navegada para lá de deliciosa, chegamos numa praia paradisíaca no norte da Cróacia, a ilha de Silba. Não havia ninguém na praia, exceto, muitas abelhas. Fomos rodeados pelas abelhas e nosso cachorro Zé, foi o que mais ficou aflito com o ataque. A aventura não parou por ai...até rolou uma pescaria bem inusitada. Eram tantas abelhas, que tivemos que ir embora para uma outra ilha, Mali Losinj. Uma ilha bem ao norte da Croácia que tem inclusive aeroporto. Pit Boss has just released the new Pit Boss Pro Series line and has made what we have all been waiting for. They have a pellet smoker and grill, combined with a gas grill and a gas side burner. The thought here is that it will allow you to smoke food or sear it using their "open to the burn pot" slides. Also, you get a three burner gas grill on the right with the same height capacity as the smoker AND the ability to open a smoke chamber, allowing smoke to go into that portion if you want. A side burner that can also double as a second working surface adds to the benefits of this grill. That said, the grill is massive, and you have to put it together yourself. The directions are pretty good, but there are a few things to avoid and a couple of places where the instructions were not quite right. This video (2 parts) shows how to assemble the grill, things to watch out for, and will hopefully save you some lost time due to errors or confusing directions. Pit Boss does also have the KC Combo Premium unit that has a gas grill/griddle on one side; however, I chose this one due to allowing the smoke to travel between the chambers. I don't have both units, so I can't do a side by side comparison, but I do like the controller and probe connections better on the KC Combo. I prefer the height advantages, however, with the one we purchased and also appreciate the side burner which the KC Combo does not have. Since making this video, we have found some great resources that we wanted to share with you as well. Nossa porta de entrada do Caribe foi Barbados. Que acerto! Eu pouco tinha ouvido falar sobre essa ilha, mas foi uma grata surpresa! Logo que chegamos já notamos aquela cor azul do mar do Caribe! A cidade estava toda enfeitada para o Natal, uma fofura. Resolvemos aproveitar cada segundo! Fomos aos beach bars, mergulhamos no naufrágio na praia da nossa ancoragem, fomos ao Oistin's Fried Fish na sexta, visitamos a Harrisson's Cave e acabamos encantados por Barbados. Além de muito divertida a ilha tem pessoas adoráveis, todos muito gentis e simpáticos! Reunimos nossos velejadores brazucas para o Natal e acordamos cedo para um evento interessantíssimo: o Christmas at the Park.
