We have not had these batteries very long but so far they are great. Have used them in to listen to the news with my Roku on the remote headset and so far so good. We were using NiMH batteries but after a short time, they would start failing. These batteries are the same price as the nimNiMH h, and they charge so fast. The 1000 charge cycles with still a lot of capacity left, will not need to replace these for a while, do have to buy more for the rest of my devices. I would not use these for electric door locks, smoke detectors, or any other device you when the battery gets low you know it. These batteries go from working at what seems 100%, to not working at all because of the safety circuits for the lithium cell. Update 1/04/2020: We are still using these batteries with no issues, life is still as long as the day we bought them. by HITRENDS Link: https://amzn.to/2nTtYbs You can also follow us on our blog: https://www.chrisdoeswhat.com/ Or go directly to cooking: https://www.dininginwithdanielle.com If you have a request, please see our blog and go to contact. https://www.chrisdoeswhat.com/contact-us/ Current Video & Blog Productions: Florida Landscapes Explore Florida Recipes with Danielle DIY and HowTo Reviews Equipment: All videos are edited with Sony VEGAS Pro or Filmora Our video studio does have a green screen with umbrella lighting All recording equipment is Sony and our main camera is the HDR-CX675 offering servo steadied filming and 5.1 sound. Now it's time to finally see how she floats, motors, rows, and sails. We load everything up in the truck and head to the lake for a the launching! This project has been amazing. I really enjoyed building it, and I can even imagine building another boat in the future - possibly even one of my own design. I really hope that you've enjoyed this little "mini-series". Now, what I'm looking forward to the most is the day when we can sail this sweet little boat somewhere warm with clear water and sandy beaches. It'll happen. Here are my picks for catamarans under $750K for the month of March. There are some really strong offerings in this price range. I especially really like the Lagoon 450. In my opinion this is the best Lagoon 450 on the market today. 3) Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 asking $620K http://bit.ly/Helia44BVI 2) Leopard 48 asking $629K http://bit.ly/Leopard48CapeCoral 1) Lagoon 450 asking $599K http://bit.ly/Lagoon450FAnnapolis If you have any questions leave a comment below or shoot me. an email. Treated myself to a visit of the Interboot in Friedrichshafen in late 2017. Met this nice family selling the New Zealand Takacats in Germany and Europe (www.takacat.de). They took me out on the lake for a spin in one of their boats I don't know the exact model, but the one in the video belongs to the "Sport" series. Takacats differ from other small inflatable craft in that they are "cats", catamarans. Being cats they don't have this shallow-V hull form, but instead two cylindrical tubes and a "deck" in the middle. This provides a lot of stability, speed potential and a smoother ride on the water. All in all, a lot of cool ideas are implemented in the boats. They can be open at the bow for easy access from the water (LX series) and/or at the back ("open transom") for safety reasons (a wave from behind wouldn't stay in the boat) (LX and Sport series). Having fought with tiny uncomfortable dinghies during several sailing trips, the Takacat was a welcome change of pace. I liked it a lot. I'm not affiliated with Takacat in any way. A couple of awesome dives on the HMAS Brisbane with scubaworld, Mooloolaba. This was back in 2014 and conditions were perfect. We decided it was time to actually edit some of our hundreds of hours of dive footage into something worth watching. Don't worry -we are still going to be making our Sailing Double Trouble movies, but you scuba folks may like this one . We see manta rays, scorpion fish, batfish and lots of other fish! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ☕️ Want to Buy us a Coffee? We are Jo and Rob and we are here to share our sailing adventures with you. In 2016, inspired by the likes of ‘Delos’, ‘Sailing La Vagabonde’ and ‘Gone with The Wynns’, we sold up everything we owned and bought our 40ft, Fountaine Pajot ‘Lipari 41 Evo’ sailing catamaran ‘Double Trouble’. We had no sailing experience whatsoever, so the past few years have been a huge learning curve. We thought it might be fun to document our travels for anyone thinking of following a similar lifestyle. So far we have visited 7 different countries and sailed over 13,000 nautical miles. We have had many unique experiences that would not have been possible in our prior life and we don’t regret a second. We're both super keen on protecting our precious environment, so amongst other things, we both follow a plant based diet. You wont find any fishing footage on this channel! After the video of our lead keel pour came out, we received a lot of comments regarding the safety of the pour and about concerns or contamination to the surrounding area. We did our best to get information regarding such issues and went as far as calling the EPA number as well a several local agencies, all to no avail. We basically kept getting told to stop wasting their time about this... so we took a friend up on her offer to inform us on what she knows and get the soil tested! As you can see from the video, we did not create any concerning contamination of lead to the soil, nor to ourselves. The soil levels were at 7mg/Kg and the accepted EPA amount is 400mg/Kg. We put out a call for any local black locust trees that may need removal. If you are interested in our offer to come cut it down and clear the remains (including the stump) and are within 1hour of Granby, MA (01033) please get in contact with us at: acorntoarabella@gmail.com Please be sure that the trees are Black Locust and not some other variant such as Honey Locust. Q. How to prepare your boat for an ocean passage? A. With care and attention to safety Sailing a boat is dangerous, and when you're crossing an ocean those dangers are magnified. Minimising risk and taking precautions beforehand is essential to ensure your boat is in good order and that all equipment is up to date. 👍 If you enjoyed this video, please LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE, your feedback gets us noticed by YouTube and helps people discover us! Thank you. We will be heading into a colder climate, so this means making some big purchases and implementing some structural changes aboard Esper. This additional work and new gear is going to cost thousands of dollars, so you are probably wondering how we are going to afford to do all this. 1. From this point our Patreon and Rum Fund pledges will be diverted towards prepping Esper. 2. We have already started tightening our belts - we can't afford to fly back to visit our families right now, so have postponed our planned trip next month. 3. We are applying for a bank loan. As permanent liveaboards, we have a pretty good idea of which areas need particular attention, but we still have to double-check everything, then make repairs or purchase replacements accordingly. For ANY ocean crossing you have to service every single system on the boat. On this passage, we have to make some modifications and add new systems. Some of you may have wondered why it is going to take so long to prepare the boat before we can set off on our passage to the PNW. We hope this video will give a clearer picture of the work we have to do. Peace and fair winds!
