I have been wanting to try fly fishing for some time now. I really didn't want to put a lot of money into it, so off to Craigslist I went! Warning: So, after reviewing this footage and seeing how BAD I actually was, I must say, if you are an avid fly fishing person,... WATCH AT OWN RISK. I am seriously doing it ALL wrong! If you ever wonder how good or bad you are at something, just record yourself doing it. Video does not lie!! Fly fishing is a blast! I can't wait to get better at it so I can target some fish. We renamed our boat from Brisa to Dodi when we bought her. It has taken sometime to get to the renaming ceremony, but better late than never. As we prepare for our trip and travelling to the blue water of the Bahamas and Season 2 of The Boat Life we were able to get our friends together to do a renaming and christening of our Sailboat Dodi. Highlights of our 1,200-mile sail from New Zealand to Fiji in May, 2017, aboard the sailing vessel Avalon. We left Marsden Point Marina (NZ) under sunny skies. Over the next 8-9 days, we faced some big wind, rain, and seas. But we were also becalmed for a couple days, floating in a completely flat and glassy South Pacific Ocean. It was eerie and unforgettable. (We don't carry enough fuel to just motor any time we want.) We finally arrived at Vuda Marina, Fiji, wearing big smiles and ordering pina coladas for breakfast! This is day three in our voyage around Catalina Island in a Pacific Seacraft Dana 24 sailboat. Our first order of business was to dive in into the fifty-something degree F water and clear the fouled prop (see the last episode. We made our best attempt to sail all the way back to Dana Point but the winds did not cooperate. On a positive note, we enjoyed several great dolphin sightings and manage to see a couple of whales (at a distance!) before returning to the slip!

Behind the scenes using Onboard Helmet cameras for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. This is my vlog of the Journey and experience whilst I was there, the temperature was usually around minus 10 it was really cold. I was in South Korea to look after the live tv - helmet cameras on the down hill skiing. I developed the system back in London and so then I operate them during the events. I filmed this vlog with only a Samsung Galaxy S7. For the middle 12 days I had the worst cold ever so I didn't film anything on those days but this is the best of what happened in a month. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharing my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time. - Where are you now?
