It was great to sail under the Millennium Bridge on the river Tyne, when we approached the center of Newcastle! The Bridge is 25 meter high, our catamaran is 21 meters high :). After the Bridge we went to the city marina to stay in Newcastle for 5 days.

Depart des Embiez en direction de Porquerolles, depuis la cardinale Nord "la casserlane" au pres, jusqu'à la cardinale ouest "les magnons", puis d'abattre progressivement en direction du cap Sicié, pour finir vent arrière poussé par la houle de sud ouest, ou l'on sent la capacité du Suspens a allonger la foulé…

Nous naviguons sur un catamaran Wharram de 31 pieds. Avec nos deux enfants nous faisons la traversée de l'atlantique en famille. En fait c'est notre troisième transat de l'année; en janvier nous faisions le première entre le cap vert et la Martinique. En juin nous entamons une transatlantique retour depuis Marie galante vers les Açores. Nous clôturons l'année en beauté avec cette nouvelle navigation de Mindelo vers les Antilles en décembre. Une année de voyage sur un petit bateau, en mode minimaliste. Une navigation avec un petit budget et de grands horizons. Vivre sur l'eau, heureux et sans contraintes. Une ambiance digne des links écossais, les 4 saisons en une seule partie, nous avons golfé l'un des plus beaux golfs d'Europe : le golf de San Lorenzo, situé au Portugal, près de Faro dans le célèbre Quinta do Lago. Beneteau Cyclades 50.4 yacht named "Nariki". The footage was taken during our cruise from Gosford, New South Wales, Australia to the Whitsunday Islands, Queensland, Australia in 2018. Since then we have produced a series of videos (episodes 1-27) recorded in 2022, where we sailed "The Doghouse" north along the east Australian coast as far as Hinchinbrook Island in Queensland. On lève l’ancre pour une navigation difficile de plus de 24h de Cabo de la Vela au parc protégé Tayrona en Colombie. Comme toujours, les vents se lèvent durant la nuit et on arrive dans le parc protégé complètement vidé d’énergie. Les jours suivants ont été un cauchemar; un voleur est venu sur Atypic et sur le voilier de Jay pour voler nos défenses de bateau, un homme a aussi tenté de voler le dinghy à Jay en plein jour, on a donc dû quitter Santa Marta avant qu’ils réussissent à voler un de nos dinghy, mais ça ne s’est pas terminé comme prévu. Durant la navigation, le gouvernail du voilier de notre ami Jay a brisé, il s'est pris un filet de pêche dans l'hélice et il a malheureusement échoué son voilier sur la côte Colombienne.
