But my daughter and I got the bow transom dry-fitted and trimmed and we bent on a full sheet of 3/8" ACX for a dry fit of the bottom. We used #10 1 inch s.s. screws. for the dry fit, and they'll also serve as clamps when we glue the bottom in place. One the epoxy is set, the screws can be backed out and filled, or simply left in place.

Per PCB's suggestion in "Boats with an Open Mind", I've given her a flat run aft. We'll mount a small outboard on her, and with a necklace of fenders she'll make a fine tug, utility launch, and tender for our anchorage!

The old radiator of our Toyota Land Cruiser wasn't good enough anymore to get us through the mountains of Venezuela with more than 30km/h.
