We visited charming Culebra, an island east of Puerto Rico; we explored incredible Culebrita, a home of old lighthouse and wild sheep; and finally we got to St. Thomas, amazing place with lots to discover. We are an international couple - Jack (from France), Kateryna (from Ukraine). We have been crossing this wonderful life together since 10 years. Finally (after many years of dreaming) we are living a "true" life. We have a plan to sail across all oceans (almost), and will be happy to share this adventurous lifestyle with you! A Canadian Couple from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada left from Parksville July 21, 2016 to sail around the world in their Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran. See how they get along, who they meet and where they end up going. They have a 10 year estimated time line, but a very open agenda. Update: Laurie was ejected from the boat in late April 2019 after almost 3 glorious years of exploring and discovery. She is now back in BC with family and friends.

Having set out to fulfill their dream of sailing the Bahamas and Caribbean aboard a yacht of their own, Roy and Christina were in need of expert advice and assistance in finding the right yacht for them. Living across the country provided a number of challenges for them but with the help of David Walters Yachts they were able to find the yacht of their dreams and glide through the purchase process with ease.

Have you ever wanted to have a tropical island to yourself? We think the Bahamas is one of the few cruising destinations where this is possible! The Plana Cays lie 20 miles from the nearest settlement, and they are uninhabited. One theory is that this was Columbus' first landfall in the Caribbean. We can't get over the fabulous colour of the water and the miles of white sand beach. There is an off-lying reef so we anchor outside and bring the dinghy in to shore.
