The start of this year's race echoed the last two years - not a great deal of wind. The fleet of 62 yachts set off in less than 5 knots of NW wind and drifted over the start line. Perpetual Loyal found the breeze at South Head and quickly headed out to sea. Dale & Crosbie Lorimer from Bow Caddy Media were on the harbour to capture some beautiful, if not action packed, pictures!

Mid winter, 4 degrees, A lake, wind, and me surfing happier then a dog with a bone.

How does it feel to surf? 30 sec. pure happyness here, life is beautifull. Perfect day, perfect waves, surfing Hyat reef with my great buddy Lex, Life at its best :)

We're finally out of the boatyard! Not too far of a trip to the Marina around the corner, but the change in lifestyle is drastic! Showers, gym, captain's lounge, wifi! Ooooh yeah! Now all we have to do is get that mast back up!
