I've had a couple of cars turn in front of me while on my bike. Fortunately I've been able to avoid them so far. You'd think a big bright headlight would get you seen, but it's almost invisible to the other cars. I bought these lights on ebay for just under $15 including shipping. Took me an hour to hook them up and now I do feel a lot more visible. While testing them yesterday I was asked by two people what they were, and I could see more people looking my way. I added the switch in case I needed to turn them off if I came across a police vehicle, as I'm not sure what the legal status is of having flashing lights on the bike. The video doesn't quite show the flashing as it is in real life. It is a rapid flash, with equal amounts of on and off time. I think it has something to do with the flash rate and the frames per second of the video clashing.
