Australian Sailing highlights from the first Sailing World Cup of the 2016 series in Melbourne (9-13 December 2015). Australian Sailing’s up and coming talent and Rio hopefuls secured wins in six Olympic classes (Finn, 49erFX, Women RS:X, 470 Men and Women, Laser Radial) and two Paralympic classes (Sonar and SKUD18) plus multiple podium finishes. The new St Kilda venue proved a great success with its sailing precinct & Port Philip providing an exciting regatta venue for the kick-off World Cup event of the 2016 Sailing World Cup series. We didn't realize that uploading to YouTube had decreased the sound of the video we made. We hope this is better and we are still working on the issue of audio to improve our vidoes. A MOMENT'S INATTENTION!! We did say that we would show you the good and bad times when cruising and this is one of those bad times that you don't want to experience often. This video highlights our misfortune of grounding the boat when we were not being attentive in checking Active Captain on our travels down the ICW. We grounded the boat near Cumberland Island Georgia and it was high and dry until early hours of the morning. Thankyou for watching our video.
