I look back at this video and think that I was overacting a little bit but, at the time I was genuinely concerned for the safety of the boat. I'd just moved on board and wasn't familiar with any of the systems or the state of the mooring rope. The bad weather (it never looks as bad on video!) took me by surprise and you can see that in my face. In the end this was nothing to what I'd face in the future. See Episode 4

Jabberwocky is cleaned up prior to making the trip to Belfast. After and extended period in he water there was a full marine ecosystem which needed to be removed. After a short sail up the east coast of Ireland were were ready to start the massive but ultimately rewarding task for restoring this yacht to its former glory. Many of the repair and maintenance tips used throughout the restoration process where new skills the team learnt along the way form fibreglass work to electrical rewiring we did it all. Hopefully you enjoy watching as we rebuild, repair and restore our yacht.

A MOMENT'S INATTENTION!! We did say that we would show you the good and bad times when cruising and this is one of those bad times that you don't want to experience often. This video highlights our misfortune of grounding the boat when we were not being attentive in checking Active Captain on our travels down the ICW.
