RS Sailing and BIC Sport North America announce a joint effort to promote a new-age pathway for kids to find their passion for sailing. The goal is to provide a more formalized learning track parallel to what has been done traditionally, and excite youth sailors with modern sailing craft.

This is the second half of a cruise and a trip to Key West as well as an award reception and musical shows on the boat. We also went to a great place in KeyWest called Irish Kevins Pub and there was a wonderful singer/songwriter there. I recorded him a bit and wanted to be sure that if you like his music you check out his webpage at www.keywestcowboy.com. Great songwriter and really fun guy to see live. I look forward to getting my music I ordered from him as well. Join us on our journey as we continue to rebuild, refit and prepare our Formosa 51 Sailboat for our continued cruising journey. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board. We are avid fans of Cruising Outpost and Good Ole Boat (Good Old Boat) magazines and love the ideas we get from them. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "How to repair a wooden mast, boom, spar or Bulkhead (Step by Step) " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Nxr-yxUjvQ -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

Why do we sail? Here is what it feels like to be on a Maxi 72. Start to finish. You will hear the sounds of the boat, the water and feel the sun on your face.

Division 2 finished up the week in big breeze and squalls which made the finish line problematic.

Reece finished work early on Wednesday and we went straight down to the lake to meet the previous owner. We got the keys and the oars for the tender and rowed out to Serenity to take her for a sail.

In July 2015, Justine and Robinson purchased a small C&C 24 sailboat on Vancouver Island with the intention of living aboard, and eventually travelling the world. We travelled all around the Gulf Islands, Vancouver, Victoria, and moved our home up the West Coast of Vancouver Island to Zeballos, BC. https://maiweh.wordpress.com/ https://www.patreon.com/maiweh?ty=h

Engelbert Frauscher founded his first boatyard in Vienna on the Old Danube in 1927. He quickly acquired an excellent reputation as a boat builder and produced the “O-Jolle” dinghies for the Olympic Games in the 1930s. In 1945 the diligent boat builder started over again and founded the shipyard in Gmunden. The first electric boats & motorboats were created in the 1950s, and it did not take long until his sons Ernst and Hans also started working in the shipyard. New projects followed. For instance, boathouses and a harbour facility were built and a sailing school was also established. In the beginning of the 1970s, a new production facility was constructed in Gschwandt, where production continues to this day. The 3rd generation joined the company in the 1990s: first Michael and then Andrea and Stefan. New types of electric boats and motorboats were developed and the internationalisation of the company was expedited. Currently there are Frauscher dealers in 20 nations, among others also in the USA, France, South America, Australia, China and Qatar. The Frauscher Boatyard has particularly aroused attention in the industry in recent years since 2007 due to its innovations, the unmistakable design and the outstanding quality with regard to motor and electric yachts. For instance, the first serially produced hybrid and hydrogen drives were successfully developed and introduced. The company is also very proud of the five nominations for the European Powerboat Award in the past five years. In 2011 this was even possible with an electric yacht. Another milestone in the history of the Frauscher Boatyard occurred in March 2012. The first company-owned international subsidiary, “Frauscher Espana”, was opened in Port Adriano (Mallorca). This step was announced with the introduction of the new flagship, the Frauscher 1017 GT. This model is the first motor yacht which has been developed and produced from the very beginning for the ocean.
