While in St Augustine, our generator starting overheating. We needed time to have it cool down to figure out what the issue was. As we were preparing to leave the next morning, we decided to wait to look at it until we made it to our next planned stop that was longer than an overnight. Once we arrived at our next anchorage, we and by we, I mean Andy took a look at the generator. Besides a broken impeller he found a serious issue with a burn that fused the wires together on the main generator switch for shore/gen power. Real life boat issues that you deal with on anchor...
