We set sail from the stunning island of Cavallo bound for the must-see town of Bonifacio, perched dramatically on the cliffs of southern Corsica. Our plan to moor in a quiet cove near the harbour proves more complicated than expected, and with no easy solution, we drop anchor nearby to await a potential marina berth. But Corsica has other plans. As a strong storm builds overnight and the marina stays full, we’re forced to pivot—making a dash ahead of the weather to take shelter in the beautiful Golfe de Sant'Amanza.
