Kaiquest (Jeanneau SO 43) sailing with XT Vane, July 28 2016

Kaiquest (Jeanneau SO 43) sails across the Straight of Georgia. We're using the Extendable 'XT' Vane - which was designed with light airs in mind - but also works great in windier conditions, as Will demonstrates. Also of note is that the Hydrovane is on the weather side, with a 26 inch offset. The small amount of extra rudder exposure on this point of sail is no problem at all.
