Final Push Sailing Home | Finishing The Baja Bash | Asuncion to San Diego After 3 Years in Mexico

211 Ansichten· 22/08/25

After 2 winter seasons exploring Mexico aboard our Gemini 105MC catamaran, it’s time for the final leg of the 1500-mile Baja Bash back to San Diego, sailing from Puerto Penasco down, around and back up to San Diego. In this episode, we sail from Asuncion through the second half of the Pacific Baja coast, taking on both calm seas and some not-so-calm weather. One of the biggest challenges of the trip comes here — a 39-hour non-stop passage, one of my longest stretches of the trip, pushing both boat and myself to the limit. From breathtaking sunrises to pounding Pacific swells, this final push brings us back to our home port in San Diego, closing the chapter on our Mexico sailing adventures and marking the start of a new one. 📍 Route: Asuncion → San Quintin → San Diego 🌊 Conditions: Calm seas, strong winds, and everything in between ⚓ Boat: Gemini 105MC Catamaran If you love sailing, Baja cruising, and raw ocean adventure, subscribe and join the crew! #Sailing #BajaBash #CruisingLife #Catamaran #SailingMexico #OffshoreSailing #BoatLife #SailingVlog
