Ep 18 Incredible cruising destination: Sailing to Kerrera

This week we enjoy more of the Scottish islands fabulous scenery when we head from Craobh Haven to Oban via Luing Sound. Oban has the nicest facilities we have used so far. The showers are huge with unlimited hot water, no push buttons here. They do have limited opening times which have been further restricted by Covid measures but very clean. There is excellent access to shops of all kinds but no chandlers, although you can easily get to the one at Dunstaffnage by bus. We stock up with food then head over to the Isle of Kerrera for a 12 mile hike to Gylen Castle where we managed to fly the drone to show you some lofty views. From here we ventured up the sound of Mull to Tobermory, which was our best sail yet. We are two very happy sailors.
