Bonjour à tous, Après une merveilleuse semaine de vacances en Auvergne, les travaux sur Pierrick II ont débuté. Au programme, le démâtage, motivé par deux raisons principales : premièrement, la vérification du gréement après avoir affronté des vents à 180 km/h en novembre dernier (vous pouvez visionner lnotre vidéo : https://youtu.be/WMH3j0eL_iU?si=VMt23feqXIB9s3Wj]). Deuxièmement, l'installation d'un étai largable par la société All Purpose de Roscoff. Le remplacement de notre moteur est assuré par la société IVIN de Roscoff, celui-ci nous ayant lâchés il y a plus d'un mois. Une grosse révision était initialement prévue, mais malheureusement, le moteur n'a pas tenu jusqu'à présent. En plus de ces travaux, nous entreprenons divers aménagements pour le confort, la sécurité, ainsi que d'autres petites améliorations. De plus, une grande surprise est en préparation :). With a nicely put together victory in the first race and an equally accomplished second position on the first day of the Puerto Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week, Harm Muller Spreer's 2023 overall champions on Platoon Aviation, today looked much more like the team which has won three TP52 World titles. The German flagged team, led by Italian tactician Vasco Vascotto, have been struggling to get the best so far from their new TP52 this season and suffered a setback in Newport when they lost their rudder at the first of the two events there. But today, back in the modest 8-10 knots sea breezes of the familiar Bay of Palma, they looked for all the world like the title winning Platoon of old, as they pieced two really solid results together to lead Tony Langley's recently crowned, Rolex TP52 World Champions, Gladiator, by a single point. After no wind on the final day in Pingtan Island, the final standings were determined based on earlier results from the week. Both Ghio, and Suardiaz, put down a winning marker in the opening Marathon Race, last Wednesday, and both performed to a very high level in the short course racing of the opening series. It is 615 nautical miles, and the boats are sailed by one person.

The first 24 hours of the second leg of The Ocean Race Europe delivered a rollercoaster night for the IMOCA fleet. After blasting out of Portsmouth in strong downwind conditions, the seven teams were brought to a standstill off Ushant, trapped in a transition zone where the breeze collapsed and the race reset itself. For Team Malizia, it was a night of big decisions and hard work. After a solid start out of the Solent, Boris Herrmann’s crew opted for the northern route alongside Biotherm and Team Canada Ocean Racing. It proved to be the right call: while other teams stalled offshore, Malizia held on in the leading trio through the night, fighting for every mile in shifting, unstable winds. The Channel had stretched the fleet nearly 40 miles from front to back, but by dawn the pack was compressed to within a handful of miles. Biotherm clung to a narrow lead, Canada briefly grabbed the spotlight with a surge into first, and Malizia kept the pressure on, well positioned for the drag race now unfolding down the Atlantic towards Portugal. From perfect spinnaker sailing out of Cowes, to a windless crawl off Brittany, the crew onboard Malizia - Seaexplorer have already experienced the extremes of this leg. After a sleepless night of transitions and constant sail changes, the race is now wide open as the fleet points south.
