Hi Everyone, Today we attend the RMR region’s Porsche 356 Safety Clinic and Inspection. This is a signature event that kicks off the driving season in which we pop the boot and poke around a bit and make sure these amazing cars are ready for another year of driving around the hills of Colorado. Most cars have at least one or two small things, but in the past, we have seen empty brake fluid reservoirs and fan belts that wouldn’t make it home. Thankfully, this year was pretty calm. Enjoy all the beautiful cars! Sorry the audio is a bit soft – the building is in a very industrial section of Denver. We were having some exposure issues with the main shooter as well. But we're soon sailing down the Intracoastal Waterway towards Palm Beach to stage ourselves for a hopefully-smooth Gulf Stream Crossing at the right angle to account for drift from the Stream's strong current. Along the way we run the gauntlet of a half dozen draw bridges, crash a marina pool, face off with a tug boat, and do some safety prep while at anchor at Lake Worth. The Burton cup is an event held by the Medway cruising club every year in October. Spread over 4-5 weeks it provides some low key cruiser racing and its an event that we always enjoy. So this year we are again crewing for Steve and Kevin aboard their Hustler 35. Its not a particularly racy boat but she sails well, and we have a good time, even if its unlikely that we will ever win anything.
