Ep 22 – Sailing Free Spirit. We interrupt our regularly scheduled boat projects to welcome our 1st partner aboard. Today we received our water maker from our partner, Sea Water Pro. We do a complete unboxing of the items received. We are super excited to have them partner with us for our retrofit of this beautiful lady. We are one step closer to getting her sea worthy and ready for some long term adventure cruising. With a new water maker on board, we will be able to make water while at sea to use for showers, cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and most importantly making our cocktails and drinking water for the pups! Galley Countertops and Sink Today we have a guest on board to assist us with cutting and installing our new Butcher Block counter tops and Galley sink. He made it look easy but it was seriously an all day project to get them cut to size and installed properly and Wow, do they look phenomenal as Andy would say. This project was completed in conjunction with our mission to assist our local veterans who have the amazing knowledge and teaching abilities to assist us with our project and to continue to help us to Never Stop Learning. “Joe” has earned him self a day sail when he is ready with one guest and food and fun for the day. Not only did Joe help with the counter tops, there were other items that I we had no clue on what they were for and he was like this is for…. Whatever it was and we were like, no way!! The winds aligned with Jupiter and Mars while leaving the sun shining in the bright sky. This was truly a rare event, where our son Ben, his wife Alicia, and our four grandchildren, with Monica up from Florida, and Reed, were all able to join us for a day of sailing. The winds were the right strength and from the right direction to allow us to make the lighthouse run. This is a nice sail crossing the Chesapeake Bay and going south on Maryland’s Eastern Shore to round the Hooper Island Lighthouse and back again. This is a nice day sail and provides a destination rather than sailing randomly back and forth. It turned out to be a great day and Toni and I hoped that everyone onboard mentally recorded a moment in time. Subscribe and share in the adventure! Swimming With Dolphins in the lush valley of Waimanalo in Hawaii, Crystal and I were swept away by the soft skin and friendly nature of these beautiful beasts. After some prodding, Crystal and I both got to ride and swim with these gentle animals. Happy 26th Birthday present, baby! Can't wait until next year.
