Repairs begin as we got the jeep back from paint, till having suspension issues and a few electrical problems. Hi-Tech Collision did the bodywork, replaced the window, and pulled the frame down a little on the driver's side. They did an awesome job and fairly split up the work so we could do the repairs to the aftermarket pieces ourselves. We also discovered that the lights on the light bar don't work, should be a simple fix, but it just one more thing we have to deal with. We also have to figure out if we can repair the tire or do we need to replace the tires. It would probably look funny to replace one tire, and it would cause a little extra stress on the 4x4 drivetrain because the new tire would be slightly higher. Future videos for this sill be the rest of the repairs and how to work with insurance companies and what to expect. Her LOA is 19.3m and she has a beam of 4.6m with a draft of 2.98m She weighs 33t and she can cruise at 7 kts with the engine and 8-10 kts on sail depending on the wind. She is fairly comfortable with 15 to 20 kts of wind. Freshwater capacity to last over 2 weeks and a fuel range of 13 days steaming. About the Boat ''SY Red Current'' is a Southerly 31 with the construction of GRP and rigged as a sloop with Aluminium Mast. Her LOA is 31 feet and she has a beam of 10 feet with a draft of 7 feet. She also has an electric swing keel which makes her draft very shallow and easy to enter in shallow water. I was so excited to finally go to the Southampton Boat show and it didn't dissapoint! It was great seeing all the boats and difficult to get onboard due to covid restrictions, but I made it aboard a few differnet boats and actually fulfilled a bit of a silly dream of having a look around a Benetau Swift Trawler. I had a great chat with the Captain of the "Morgenster" and also with a few guys on older boats. I also loved looking around all the chandlery and of course had a really good look at the Icom booth to get a feel for handheld radios. I finshed the day with a crazy Rib experience doing about 40kts around Southamptom Bay and then had a more sedate tour on the foot ferry. The sun was shining all day long and it was a superb day! My only gripe would be that modern boats just don't seem so seaworthy to me. This video continues the Turkish sailing adventure onboard Luna, our 2022 "bareboat" sailing charter from @E.G.G. Yachting with@Sailing MacMac. Zacc flies in from Dublin for a few days sailing before we head north to the Datca Peninsula and encounter 26-31 knot winds with a triple reef in. Also on scene to witness a HUGE fire on the peninsula and observe the fire fighting flying crews "up close and personal"

Short video of my sail from SF to Ft. Bragg. The weather was fair so not to much action. I anchored in Drakes bay the first night and Fish Rocks the second night. Both were to foggy and dark to get any good video. I don't recommend anchoring in Fish Rocks unless you are confident in the ability to dodge rocks in the fog. This was my first leg of my solo sail to Eureka CA. With many fuel issues at sea I was able to make repairs in Ft. Bragg. Thanks for watching and I hope to get the remainder of the trip online soon:)

After we left Beaufort, SC, we spent 2 cold days cruising south to St. Simons Island. At this point, we had no real cruising plans except that we were due to Brunswick Landing Marina the second week of December so we didn't want to go too far south. We decided we would spend some time anchoring out near the GA Isles (St. Simons Island & Jekyll) and Fernandina Beach until then. While in Fernandina, we met another cruising couple who happen to be talented singers & musicians. They invited over to their sailboat one evening for sunsets & cocktails and treated us to some great live music.
