Entre un effet Venturi qui nous surprend au mouillage avec des rafales à 50 nœuds au point de soulever notre panneau solaire à la verticale et une navigation sportive au près pour rejoindre le dernier village au nord des Yasawas, cet épisode met en lumière la réalité de la vie à bord quand la météo s'en mêle. Ici, la tradition veut que l’on rencontre le chef du village pour lui offrir la racine de kava, une plante aux propriétés relaxantes. Nous lui apportons aussi du riz, des lentilles, du poisson et quelques outils. Nous partagerons le repas chez lui, en compagnie de deux autres bateaux de copains français.
