We hit up the Video Influencers workshop in Seattle and then went to the Seattle Sound Rowers Race at Mt. Baker Beach in Seattle. Anluven bis das Vorliek weich wird, dann klein wenig abfallen, bis das Vorliek wieder steif ist. Bemerkung: Er segelt erst 5. Mal bei mir. Fast hat er schon Rollwende geschafft.

Welcome to Frolic - our new boat! We have sold our beloved Tartan 4100. As we spend more and more time cruising we felt she didn't meet our needs as well as possible. She was a good boat and has a fine new owner. Frolic is a very different boat - an Antares 44i sailing catamaran. We are still getting used to her and are feeling like we are way down on the learning curve again. She is a significantly more complicated boat. But every day aboard we learn more about her. After moving our stuff aboard we spent a few days on organizing, deciding which of our and which of the former owner's equipment we wanted to keep, and taking lots of stuff to the thrift store and elsewhere. Then we set off for a shakedown cruise to the Florida Keys. While it was a pretty quick trip it did not disappoint, with some great sailing, beautiful anchorages, dolphins, and more.

I justed wanted to thank you all for a great 2019. I'm really grateful for every single one of you caring about sailing and this channel. 2020 will be a cool and great year and I'm really looking forward to it. All the best to you, and I'll see you on the other side.

Als es hieß, wir fahren zum Gelidonya Feneri, einem bekannten Leuchtturm an der Südküste der Türkei, hatte mir niemand gesagt, dass der nur über einen langen, steinigen und steilen Fußweg, dem bekannten Lykischen Weg, zu erreichen ist. Bei strahlender Sonne floss der Schweiß. Zum Abkühlen ging es dann anschließend auf 2365 Meter Höhe zur Schneeballschlacht (auf dem Tahtali bei Kemer). Wirklich eine tolle Aussicht von da oben.
