Una splendida avventura tra Madrid e Costarica

It was cold and windy but we had a job to do! Film the start of the second race of the Gold Cup Series for Royal Akarana Yacht Club regardless of whether we could feel our fingers or not. Breeze was delivered and so was the chop. We almost lost our gear thanks to a "rogue wave" but thankfully AP from Doyle Sails with his trusty sidekick Tom saved the day and took us on board so we could continue. Nice work by the boats and crews who made the startline - you all looked fabulous! Race 2 of the Gold Cup Series was hosted by Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS). This week on SV Dreamchaser, we completed the installation of the repaired coach house port. If you recall, last week we prepared the surfaces, this week we clean and bed the glass into the opening. I also came up to New Jersey to help out my dad by taking him to his scheduled surgery. We are expecting almost a week in the hospital then back home. While here, I am staying at my dad's house that he built himself. It was cool to reminisce about where I grew up, see the house that I flew to help build each summer with my father and visit the house I grew up in.
