I washed to remove any loose paint, dirt, grease, and any other surface contaminants. Then we sanded with 80 grit sandpaper, removed all residue and let dry. Applied 1 coat of Bottom Paint Primer. Applied two coats of antifoulant, left it to dry overnight. Installed a new marine cutlass bearing to fix the propeller, was stuck and extremely difficult to remove old one, we had to go find help. Unpacking the sail. Attaching the mainsail tack, the mainsail clew, the mainsail head. Hoisted the sail and inserted battens. Got the letters for our new boat name, guy miss spelled Northern, we found out the hard way and had to redo. Lenny made a new dog friend who won't stop peeing on our stuff.

So today we need to fix the tank clips. The glue came away so we need to find a better way to fic them to the hull. First though we have a quick review so far with Tadpole my Biluta Packraft. She's definitely done the job so far and i'm really impressed with her. I then measure my anchor chain and rode because I can't remember for the life of me how long it is. It turns out we have 30M + 2M of chain so thats great for sea faring. Lastly we measure up and think about a sun shade. Not sure how quickly we'll get that done but at least we know the measurments now. Bonjour voici la dernière étape de la pose de notre déssalinisateur Simplewater, et la plus importante. La mise en test sous pression. après une petite fuite sur une connexion, nous avons commencé à remplir notre cuve. a fonctionne. La première étape était sans pompe de gavage mais le groupe Haute pression se mettait régulièrement en sécurité selon la gîte du bateau....Pas l'idéal quand on est sur un voilier..... Nous avons doc commandé la pompe de gavage et installée sur le déssalinisateur, au niveau de l'arrivée d'eau de mer. tout fonctionne, c'est super! quel bonheur de ne plus courir après l'eau des que nous nous arrêtons.
