Na manhã do dia seguinte, já fundiado em Jaquarari, sai para passear pelas redondezas e para minha surpresa, encontrei uma ossada de um boto! City Sailing Sea Survival Day We take to the pool for a full day of sea survival for a team of pilots and doctors. This is a bespoke course for both land and sea survival. We cover the principles of Sea Survival in the morning in the pool looking at liferafts and lifejackets. In the afternoon we test them out in real-life conditions in the underwater film studio purpose-built pool.

This week we show what Hurricane Ian did at our place. In the grand scheme of things, this is minor compared to many others. The roof has damage for sure, and a few days later in the house, we can see drywall swelling, tape and bedding coming loose, and footer molding between floor and wall swelling out. All in all, the house is liveable, which is much better than many others. Который дает много преимуществ и ограничений. Путешествия с детьми школьного возраста еще тот вызов. Но откладывать свою жизнь на потом не хочется. Когда дети вырастут, здоровье может быть не позволит вести такой образ жизни. Так что мы довольны нашим решением.

We are back! After an extended break we finally got round to editing and uploading a new video for you guys. We set the challenge to do 1 years worth of videos, 52 episodes, and once we did that it was great to just take a step back and relieve ourselves of the pressure for a while. We had a series of family committments to go back to the UK for, we both work part time, have boat maintenance/ jobs to do, and passage planning and sometimes trying to fit in a YouTube video as well means there is little time left to actually enjoy the places we travel. Well in true narrowboat fashion, there's no such thing as a simple job. Every job always leads to another, or is a much bigger job than you originally thought. This time, a simple leaking mushroom in need of new seals became a too big hole that needs a weld job once the weather improves. So for now, it's a bodge job to just weatherproof it over the winter. The sealant I used on this job was fantastic, and recommended by marina staff, its called Sika Sikaflex EBT+.
