Few people can imagine that anyone can sail around the world in an open boat. That is exactly what Anthony Steward did in the early 90's. Nobody did it before him and nobody else has done it since. Anthony did it in a modified version of my TLC 19 design, taking 2 years for the circumnavigation. As you can imagine, he and his little boat endured many capsizes and much hardship along the way, including ship-wreck and having to rebuild his boat. Die Jugend des NRV nutzte die Herbstferien für ein Trainingslager in Boltenhagen. Auf dem international geschätzen Ostseervier richtete der NRV schon Laser Weltmeisterschaften und Drachen Europameisterschaften aus. Am Trainingslager nahmen 41 Jugendliche in den Klassen Opti, 420er und Laser teil. Neben dem täglichen Wassertraining genossen alle auch das umfangreiche Freizeitangebot der Weißen Wiek.
