Mais uma reforma no barco, antes mesmo de ir para água. Desta vez estou refazendo a tampa do paiol da bateria. A princípio iria deixar as baterias dentro da embarcação mas, devidos aos vapores tóxicos emitidos pela bateria de chumbo, resolvi deixar do lado de fora mesmo. E para isso tive que fazer uma tampa melhor, para que a água escorra pelas lsterais.

Highlights from iFLY15 - Foiling Week Garda, where this year 6 iFLY15 participated. During the catamaran races, in winds of up to 20 knots the iFLYs were full foiling not only downwind, but also upwind, with superior speeds and good angles (vmg). FlySafe ® dynamic foil control system was proving to stabilize the racing boats, allowing high performance while foiling, even in Garda typical short and steep wave. The difference in boat speed was very pronounced. In race one, iFLY GER001 was first at the finish line with more that 1min margin, in a race of less than 30min duration and after initial lag of more than 4 minutes (from arriving late at the starting line). Race day 1 was ended by a strong wind front, passing the lake from the North. It was interesting to see the iFLYs flying stable in more than 25knots of wind, heading away lee-wards towards Fraglia Vela Malcesine harbour. In this years Foiling Week, French record holder François Gabart (sailor around the World single handed, 42.7 days) was participating. Between races, Gabart tested the iFLY15: « … it was really great. It is a new boat that I didn’t know so far. Very stable, extraordinary stable. It is extremely interesting, because You immediately see the accessibility of the boat. Almost for anyone, who does a little bit of sailing. You just jump on the boat and it is stable flying. It is even flying in light winds.
