O Beleza Pura é um Bruce Farr 38 com 2m de calado, o que dificultou bastante a passagem pelo canal. Foi um desafio, mas que superamos com muito sucesso!!! Saímos da Ilha dos Lençóis com um aperto no coração, estávamos realmente deixando o Brasil. Depois da nossa saída pra la de festiva, começamos a ficar de olho nos muitos barcos de pesca que apareciam e tomamos um susto com um que passou relativamente perto e só vimos quando avistamos já do cockpit. Optamos por navegar sem a luz de top, para parecer uma embarcação qualquer, que poderia acelerar, no caso de uma perseguição. Não estávamos com medo, mas resolvemos tomar algumas precauções por via das dúvidas. Cruzamos o Equador às 5h da manhã, eu com meu estômago ainda mareado, até cheguei a pegar as taças, mas não encaramos. Deixamos a cerimônia para o dia seguinte, já que o mar estava meio alto. Demorou uns dois dias para acalmar, mas aí já tínhamos perdido a empolgação para ritual. Netuno cobrou caro, tirou nosso piloto automático e nos fez timonear sofridas 200 milhas. Wir segeln im Winter (Oktober bis Dezember) auf dem Mittelmeer in Griechenland. Hier sind wir fast alleine unterwegs…zumindest das einzige Segelboot :).
