Gavin O'Hare is a long time sailor and supporter of the Snipe Class. He started sailing Snipes in the navy with a collegiate all-star crew shortly after graduating from the Naval Academy. In recent years the class has seen a substantial increase of collegiate sailors who are giving even the most veteran of Snipe sailors a run for their money. He met his wife at a Snipe regatta in Annapolis tying his family into the Snipe Family for years to come. He hoping one day soon to get his two young children sailing in the class as well.

Die Wirklichkeit erscheint uns viel bedrückender als diese Bilder bei Sonnenschein und 2 Bft. Das Video habe ich auf dem laptop an Bord der "Kalami Star" in Svendborg geschnitten. This is the recut slideshow of Moores Marine's restoration of the1929 John G. Alden schooner, "Summerwind," presented at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference in Louisville, Ky. In less than two years, Moores Marine rebuilt the hull from the keel to the bulwarks on the 102' schooner. Summerwind won the Grande Dame class at the Newport Bucket within a few months of the launch and Moores Marine received the "Innovation in Restoration" award at Woodenboat magazine's 2010 The WoodenBoat Show's Concours d'Elegance.

Just released from Harken the new electric rewind winch we have all been reading about. I feel that this is a very impressive new inovative product that they are displaying on the new Jeanneau 409 at the Annapolis. MD Sailboat show.
