Its an early start today to catch the tide that will sweep us out into the north sea so that we can cut around the Maplin sands and the Shoeburyness firing range. Then we head south west, into the Thames estuary and then into the River Medway where right on cue the weather that was threatened starts to make itself felt. Our engineless sail cargo ship Tres Hombres rounded the Atlantic for the eighth time, her belly full with melasses, cacao beans, green coffee beans and barrels of our finest rum. Tres Hombres sailed almost seven months, several thousand miles and had an unexpected stop in Nova Scotia.

This week we were listening a lovely melody of the rain drops and the wind :-) Yeah, all week long. Days are getting shorter and nights colder, plus windy and rainy days - a perfect combination created by fall in the Bahamas :-) However we found many things to fix and repair inside the boat, spending our days "shiny", whatever the weather is. We are an international couple - Jack (from France), Kateryna (from Ukraine). We have been crossing this wonderful life together since 10 years.
