Cette fois, le skipper de PRB a décidé de s’élancer avec un marin qui affiche l’un des palmarès les plus éloquents du match race international : Seb Col. Le vice champion du monde 2008 s’intéresse depuis plusieurs années maintenant à la course au large. Sous les couleurs de PRB, il prendra pour la troisième fois le départ de la Transat Jacques Vabre après sa participation avec Kito de Pavant en 2007 (6ème) et celle de 2011 avec François Gabart (4ème). Jacques Vabre et la transatlantique… toute une histoire! Après 20 années d'existence, la Transat Jacques Vabre a trouvé son rythme et son format, une course à la voile en double traversant l'océan atlantique. Les compétiteurs de la Transat Jacques-Vabre partiront du Havre (Seine-Maritime), dimanche 25 octobre 2015, à destination d'Itajaí, au Brésil, pour 5 400 milles de course en mer. L’édition 2015 accueillera pour la première fois quatre classes de monocoques et multicoques, parés pour affronter la traversée de l’Atlantique. Les visiteurs du village de la Transat auront l’opportunité de découvrir 14 Class40, 20 Imoca 60, 4 Multi 50, mais aussi, pour la première fois, 4 Ultime, véritables géants des mers. Nel settembre 2025 ho viaggiato per 22 giorni come passeggera (pagante) della nave cargo francese CMA CGG Medea da Marsiglia, dove mi hanno imbarcato, fino al porto di Salalah (Oman) dove sono scesa. La portacontainer era diretta in Cina. Ha fatto scalo a Malta, Beirut e dopo il canale di Suez a Gedda (Arabia Saudita). Defending World Champions and World #1 Mat Belcher & Will Ryan have claimed their third successive World Championship title at the 2015 470 World Championships in Haifa. It is the 6th 470 World title for Olympic gold medallist Mat Belcher & the 18th for Australian Sailing Head Coach Victor Kovalenko. In the 470 Women’s Carrie Smith & Jaime Ryan finished the regatta in overall ninth and secured Australia a spot at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games (subject to ISAF ratification). The top ten position at a World Championship also qualified the young duo for the Australian Sailing Team.
