After Tual and BauBau, the BPO participants visited Selayar where once again they were not disappointed by their short stay. Once again, they had a chance to taste great local food and do interesting cultural and natural sightseeing. From a tour of Benteng city to Bitombang with the special old houses … from the turtle conservation and education initiative to the snorkeling & diving at Pasi islands. The group also visited the local jail and a primary school where recycling was taught. We were lucky to be there and invited for the anniversary celebration of the Teratai Passiana Art Club. What a great way to experience the local dancing and music! Linda, our tourism office main guide did a great job coordinating our tours. We had a great first year with Rowena and this film is just a summary of some of the great times that we had.
