But, you’ll never believe what did it. We planned to leave Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas and sail deeper into French Polynesia...but plans always change on a sailboat! Today it's because Nikki's breaking out in a horrible rash. We thought she could ignore it but now her allergic reaction is getting too bad to dismiss. So join us as we explore a remote island hospital, pharmacy and get to know the costs of medical care in French Polynesia. If you can make it to the last third of the video we take a short walkabout after leaving the Pharmacy. It's a great insight to the kind people, wild foods and the cutest animals that we've found here in Nuku Hiva, Marquesas. We're not sure if it was the Taro plant or possibly the dozens of Green Mangoes that we've been picking off the wild mango trees.
