Finding Paradise by Accident | Ramsey Island, Pembrokeshire

Sometimes the best places are the ones you find when things don't quite go to plan! After a lovely walk exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline, we needed to find somewhere to spend the night in our campervan. Simple enough, you'd think! Unfortunately, finding an available campsite proved rather more difficult than expected. We'd tried several places, everywhere seemed to be booked, and with virtually no mobile phone signal, even checking availability was becoming a challenge. Eventually, we found Rhosson Ganol Caravan and Camping Site, near St Davids in Pembrokeshire, and managed to secure a pitch. And what a place we'd stumbled across! With spectacular views towards Ramsey Island and the surrounding coastline, it turned out to be a wonderful spot to spend the evening. Once we'd settled in, I headed out along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to explore the nearby cliffs and lifeboat station, before getting the drone up to capture the coastline in the beautiful evening light. What started as a frustrating search for somewhere to sleep ended with some of the most memorable scenery of our Wales adventure.
