2026 Autumn Trip (Part 3) - Wallace Island

Join us aboard our cruising vessel, MV Raiatea, as we explore the Pacific Northwest. Raiatea, a 2013 Ranger Tug R-25SC, is named after our favourite island in French Polynesia. We hope you enjoy our channel and accompany us on this marvellous journey. Chapter 24: Welcome to the final chapter of our 2026 autumn trip. In this chapter, we left Poet Cove on South Pender Island and set sail on a three-and-a-half-hour cruise to Wallace Island. Visiting Wallace Island has been on our wish list ever since we first bought MV Raiatea, and it was originally meant to be our very first shakedown cruise. Due to scheduling and maintenance, that trip never happened, but we have finally managed to go after five years. During our stay, we tried stern-tying for the first time in Princess Cove and enjoyed a long walk along the length of the island, from Panther Point to Chivers Point.
