Changing Lives Through Sailing | Spectrum Sailing

What happens when every child is given the chance to succeed? Spectrum Sailing is the only national autism sailing program in the United States, providing free sailing experiences to autistic children and their families in communities across the country. Founded by Scott Herman for his son, Daniel, Spectrum Sailing has grown from a single local program in Charleston into a national organization serving more than 260 autistic sailors in 13 communities. Through a unique three-day curriculum, participants build confidence, learn real sailing skills, and discover what they're capable of—both on and off the water.
