After the PWA in Croatia we decided to take a little vacay. Croatia is an absolute amazing place to do that and to add to it we landed on a sick catamaran. Wingfoiling, diving, swimming, eating, drinking wine... The good life!

Ein Film, nicht nur für Fans des Eriba-Tourings (Wohnwagen) Die Nordseeküste von Jütland zieht uns immer wieder an. Diesmal geht es nach Lyngvig Strand. Das ist ein DCU-Campingplatz etwa 4 km nördlich von Hvide Sande. Der Platz ist riesig und bietet daher viele großzügige Stellplätze. Ob man in den Dünen oder auf freiem Gelände stehen will - da fällt einem die Auswahl schon richtig schwer. Anmelden und Vorbuchen ist nicht nötig. Die Sanitärgebäude sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Die Duschen sind sehr gut, da ich viel Wert auf ausreichenden Wasserdruck lege. WiFi in der Nähe der Sani-Häuser ist gut. Weiter weg davon aber schwach. Unbedingt notwendig sind mindestens zwei große Kabeltrommeln. An den Verteilerstationen sind dann aber genügend Steckdosen. Zum wunderbaren Strand führen steile Sandpfade über die Dünen. Bis zum Leuchtturm sind es nur 10 Gehminuten. Ein schöner Radweg führt am Rande der Dünen jeweils nach Norden oder südlich nach Hvide Sande. Ein kleiner Kiosk hat das Notwendigste, auch frische Brötchen am Morgen. Wir haben uns mit unserem Hündchen dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Spätsommer kann es auch recht windig werden, was hier an der Küste aber normal ist. Vorherrschende Windrichtung ist Südwest bis Nordwest. Direkt hinter den Stranddünen können dann Fallwinde vorkommen. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Throwback to our first ever experience as sailors. We had a great Captain showing us the ropes! Shout out to Victor and his fantastic sailboat, our experience learning on Lake Pleasant in Arizona was great. We spent many lake days on our Chrysler 22 before deciding to beat the heat and move across the country. We had no idea the future we had in sailing but we were excited for (whatever it was) to come.

Oggi è stato il giorno delle Incoronate! Zadig ha lasciato Molat intorno alle ore 9:30 ed ha percorso 33 miglia circa zigzagando tra le numerose isole dell'arcipelago per giungere verso le 14:30 a Kornat. Purtroppo anche oggi navigazione solo a motore per il vento contrario. Abbiamo pranzato in un caratteristico ristorantino che ci ha servito un'ottima frittura di calamari davanti una splendida vista mare e un inaspettato sole finalmente primaverile, a tal punto da spingere qualcuno a fare il primo bagno di mare. Relax fino alle ore 18:00, per poi macinare altre 20 miglia alla volta dell'isola di Zirje. Le previsioni preannunciavano forte pioggia nella notte e venti meridionali, pertanto abbiamo scelto di ormeggiarci in una rada esposta a nord.. Ma neanche il tempo di buttare la pasta che verso le ore 22:00 tuoni e fulmini hanno cominciato a farci da sottofondo ed ha cominciato a piovere forte, molto forte. Il vento ha girato a maestrale e ha iniziato ad alzarsi mare, anticipando di parecchio ciò che era previsto per domani in tarda mattinata. Dopo un paio d'ore la pioggia è cessata, ma il mare meno; così, all'1:00 abbiamo deciso di spostarci in un'altra rada nella vicina isola di Kaprije, a sole 3 miglia e molto più protetta. Vi siamo appena arrivati, abbiamo ormeggiato ad un comodo gavitello ed ora possiamo dormire sonni molto più tranquilli...
